Hot Iron Dusty
up in the middle of Mass
Liam and I headed up to the middle of nowhere Massachusetts on Saturday to meet up with some of my oldest friends. They spend their weekends racing old motorcycles through dirt, sand, and whatever else they can find. I mostly just like taking pictures of it.
Within about five minutes of arriving, Liam had found a pack of kids and disappeared. I barely saw him for the rest of the day. When I finally tracked them down, they were launching themselves off a giant mountain of mulch. Somewhere along the way they also taught him how to do wheelies.
My old friend Yoav from photo school made the drive down from Maine too.
Unfortunately it was a rough weekend for my buddies. Mike crashed before I even got there. Brian snapped his chain multiple times and never made it into the bracket race. But here’s some photos I took.

As I was walking up with my Knicks hat on, Big Jon worked “and the Knicks won in 5” into his song. Wasn’t expecting a freestyle.
I’m not gonna get into it.
Liam practicing.
There is a chain snapping in half in this photo.
